people who don't like micro don't play these sorts of games, while there are intelligent UIs and those who are not, which is not the issue here. It was mentioned in a older forum discussion that this would be due to not having minimax and less micro management.
I read soemwhere it would be level dependent, but it is not, i have astack right now a warlord lvl4 leading the army and a soccerer lvl 7. Now from time to time the close combat dude gets to be leading the army. I often stack a Ranged Army Leader, who then has all the buffs for leading an army with a rogue or a warlord who then goes rampaging in close combat.
